The Sibelius User's folder is the correct place for the sound set, which I believe for Windows 10 is still at:Ĭ:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Avid\Sibelius (AppData folder is hidden by default) It will work there, as this is Sibelius' internal location for all the default sound sets, but it could get deleted upon a software update. I don't have Windows 10, but I'm sure that is not the " desired" place for the sound set to go. It will also run on a virtual server running VMWare using a qualified Windows operating system, as listed above.To correctly add the VDL_SoundSet_7.0a.xml file (or whichever version you have from the WriteScore), you will now navigate to C: > ProgramData > Avid > Sibelius > Sounds.

The Sibelius Licence Server and the Licence Server Control Panel will run on Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server, Windows Vista 32-bit, Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit, Mac OS X 10.7 or later.
